I am writing to let you know that Dave Reiley passed away on the 17th of November after a long battle with brain cancer. Dave was my exchange partner in the Fulbright Exchange programme. He taught Biology at Boys High from July 1997 to June 1998. After the exchange, Dave returned to the US and taught again at Vicksburg High School, MI for a short while, before moving across to teach in China. When he discovered his illness, Dave returned to America to undergo treatment, but sadly lost his battle late this year. Dave was a good friend who genuinely made this world a better place.
