The Pipe Band was started in 1971 and performed for the first time in September of that year.

Mr. W.C. ‘Bill’ Brooks started at PBHS in January 1923. (And taught for 8’000 or so school days.)

There was no Head Boy appointed in 1929 & 1944, the latter due to the Second World War.

BOYS HIGH Vs AFFIES – RUGBY
Although Affies has beaten Boys High more often, since we began playing against one another in 1923.
Boys High has won the 1st, 25th, 50th, 75th and 100th games.
