Dear Old Boys

It is with a very heavy heart that I write to you this morning to give you the sad news of one of our brothers passing. In the early hours this morning (22.04.2021) we got the devastating news.

Tumi – was everything a Boys High boy strives to be. A great and loyal mate with many friends. He was a boarder in Sollys where in form 5 he was made school and house prefect. He served the school with pride and amazing skill for the first Rugby XV as a talented flyhalf come center, he also achieved on the cricket and athletics tracks!

Most of all Tums was a brother who would have done anything for us his mates and the school he loved so much.

I will personally miss his laugh and naughty sense of humor. He loved to laugh and take the Micky out of us. Tums always had such an inviting nature. Rest In Peace now my friend.

I’ll keep you in the loop with regards to a memorial if there is one but due to Tumi being in Shanghai when he passed this may not happen considering the times we find ourselves.

Please feel free to get in with me should you have any questions or need to get in touch with the family.

Yours sincerely

Rob Ferguson

Head Prefect – 2004
