I regret to advise that Ken van der Laar passed away peacefully at his Johannesburg home on Sunday 9 October 2010. He was so looking forward to his 80th Birthday on the 16 November. Ken matriculated from Boys High in 1948.During the 1950s Ken was an active Old Boys’ Hockey player and in later years turned his sporting skills to Golf. A devout and practising Christian, he was respected and loved by Family, many friends and acquaintances.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila and his three children, Andre, John and Carrol.
