It is with great sadness that I inform you of Aidan Beard’s death on July 24th 2015. My father wanted me to contact you and to list his achievements whilst at Pretoria Boys High School. He was in Solomon House from 1943 to 1948 and was Head Prefect of Solomon House in 1948. He captained the 1st cricket team and played first team rugby as well. He was elected school prefect in 1947 and 1948.
I cherish all the wonderful stories he told me of his time at Pretoria Boys High School and he will be greatly missed by all of us.
