The Class of 2025 – Academic Results
The matric group of the biggest boys school in the country produced an excellent set of results.
With 72% of the Class taking pure mathematics and 89% taking sciences (physical and/or life), the quality of passes were of a very high standard.
In the National Senior Certificate examinations, the Class obtained a 99,3% pass rate (the national pass rate was 88%) and 84% Bachelor pass.
The School’s top academic achievers also wrote the IEB exams, and obtained a 69% average for FS Maths and 57% average for FS Physics.
Well done boys and teachers! We wish the Class of 2026 a joyous final year filled with the world-class academic, cultural and sporting activities and opportunities offered by PBHS.
PBHS’s 125th Celebration Year marked by special Friday Assembly
A special Friday Assembly marked the official launch of Boys High’s 125th Celebration Year on 16th January 2026.
The School was honoured to welcome Old Boy John Smit (Head Prefect 1996) as a guest speaker, and to have a number of Old Boys taking part in the proceedings. It was a meaningful start to a milestone year in the life of the School.
We are all looking forward to an exciting year ahead as we celebrate 125 years of tradition, excellence and brotherhood.
