Statement Regarding Incident at Club Premises
The management of the PHSOB Club wishes to address the serious incident that occurred on our premises today, 21 September 2025.
Incident Summary
This morning, certain individuals parked at the club. They allegedly attempted to steal a visitor’s vehicle from the premises. During this incident, a member of the public discharged a firearm, resulting in the death of one of the individuals and the arrest of a two others, one of whom is in hospital.
Immediate Response
Police and emergency services were contacted immediately.
• The scene was secured by law enforcement.
• All necessary authorities have been notified and are conducting their investigation.
• The club is cooperating fully with the ongoing police investigation.
Community Safety
The safety and security of our members, staff, and visitors remains our highest priority.
We want to assure our community that this was an isolated incident involving an attempted vehicle theft. We are reviewing our security protocols in consultation with professional security advisors. Normal club operations will continue.
Ongoing Investigation
We respect the legal process and will not speculate on circumstances while the matter is under police investigation. We ask our community to allow the authorities to conduct their work thoroughly and professionally, and we call upon any witnesses to the incident to assist the police.
